Check for a fuel system leak which allows the gas to drain out of the fuel line. One possibility maybe the check valve at the fuel pump in the gas tank. A good test of this theory is once the car has been running, stop the engine and IMMEDIATELY re-start the engine. If it starts immediately, that could be your problem, since the fuel has not drained out of the fuel line yet. micah filippini wrote: > 1990 900s. 3rd saab i've owned. best one yet. 110000 miles. runs like > a top but takes about 5 seconds to start every time. runs crisp but > the starting thing is annoying. any help? ps: new plugs didnt help.
