Subject: 9000 OAT Sensor location

Can someone please provide me with a description and/or photo of a properly placed outside air temp sensor for a '92 9000 with ACC II? I'm experiencing a temp differential as well as what I'm sure is a mis-reported OAT... found a sensor zip-tied to a frame member which I think is the OAT probe but am reasonably sure shouldn't be as close to the engine block as it is (thus resulting in higher-than-normal OAT readings). Also, a description of the SRS impact sensor and its placement would be helpful for comparison. Many thanks, Scott
