Rick, Haynes Manual (9000 '85-'95) says to do the following (paraphrased): 1. Remove spark plugs 2. Disable ignition .... (method varies depending on ignition type, see below *) 3. Turn engine over on starter until the oil pressure warning light goes out. 4. Refit spark plugs. 5. Enable ignition. 6. Start engine - may take longer than usual due to fuel system .... The Manual continues with a series of checks (e.g. fuel/water/oil leaks), and says, all being well, to run at idle until hot water is felt at top hose. * Models with distributor - Disconnect HT coil lead from the distributor cap, and earth it on cylinder block. Models with Direct Ignition - Disconnect the wiring plug from the ignition cartridge. I hasten to add that I've never done this myself, so pass on this information with no added value. Best of luck.
