I've been fighting this for 6 months, one new rotor and two sets of pads. The right rear caliper sticks when the brakes are applied. Of course, the pads get gouged down pretty quickly. My teenage daughter drives the car, and by the time she notices there is a problem it's too late. She says that after the brakes have been fixed for about a week, there is a clicking sound from the rear each time she applies the brakes. Another clue, my son did the brake job the time before this problem started. He says he put a big C clamp on the piston to push it back in, but it wouldn't move. I went out and had a look and found about the little adjuster inside the piston. I got out the Haynes and put it all back together but I now wonder if something was broken inside there... I must admit that I don't understand how that adjuster mechanism works. Can anyone supply some wisdom to this problem? TIA/Don "LABOR SVGIT"
