I do have the feeling that I do have a problem of fuel consumption on my SAAB 9000 98 2.3 T. While on highways, the consumption is low : At 130 km/h 9.0 l/km At 160 km/h 10.5 l/km At 180 km/h 11.5 l/km However, in urban areas (Paris), for short run (6 to 8 km) the consumption is about 18 l/km !!! ... while driving very smoothly (no more that 3000 rpm/min). This seems for me, too high ! I will more expect consumption around 13 to 14 l/km. Do I have a specific problem with the car or do you experiment similar values? Thanks for your help.
