I live in PA and I too have a '99 9-3.  Right now I'm running regular boring
Goodyear allweathers and they do just ok.  However, I have a friend who I
trust implicity and he swears by Bridgestone Blizzaks.  He's owned a couple
pairs and likes them a lot, but the tred is .  Goodyear does make the Ultra
Grip Ice which look a bit more all-around and may work better and longer for
our on-again, off-again winters in the northeast.
