Hello Joe, Either the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump may be bad. I just found a beautiful '91 9000 turbo loaded for $2450 on e-bay...it does have 206K miles on it, but who cares. here's the deal. > > During warm-up the engine idles smoothly, but after warm-up it idles rough and more often than not, intermitently bucks and kinda struggles at a highway speeds. The injectors click pretty loudly (exept when the idle smooths out). It has a new timing chain, DI cassette and good plugs (NGK resistor type). I tried disconnecting the O2 sensor ( no change), and disabling the fuel pressure regulator (no change). Its has good acceleration off the line shuddering only slightly....but the only way I can get more than 1/2 boost on the gauge is to (hehehe) disable the wastegate at which point it ran like it should have, a bat out of hell!!! - and I know I could adjust the wastegate linkage but I dont want to push things. HELP!!! Is it a bad fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump? Something is making the mixture way too rich!!!!???..????.???...
