Subject: Re: Replace battery in remote?

The Owner's Manual should explain how to replace the battery. If not, look for small screws. If there are no small screws, look for a small door. If there are no small doors, pry open very carefully and watch out for flying springs. I had this happen to be with an electric watch once. The 2002 BMW remotes and maybe older ones as well, do not use a battery, so you should not have to worry about battery replacement. The salesman said something about piezo-electric power supply.
