Subject: Re: Why SAAB?

This is a funny question. I sit here sometimes and read some of the posts from you fellow SAAB owners and future ones too. One of the main reasons I bought my 9-5 (and NG900 before that) is because of the safety features that come with the car. The fact that you can't turn the headlights OFF (drl's) when the car is running IS A SAFETY feature I am glad to have. Also the rear fog light is a great feature up here in the land of horizontal snow. People that have just followed me to work and comment that one of my brake lights is stuck on are really impressed and thankful when I tell them what it is. (wake up N.A.). It is better to be seen front and back than to not be seen. Another was the fact that there was only 2or3 in my town. It was different and I would always be answering questions about it. Now there is about 6 in town (12,500 pop.) I still have the only silver one. It is great in the snow. You have to put on snows though. 4 of them, all the way around. The fact that it goes like hell isn't lost either. Comfort. I like the seats and adjustment that is available. Styling. It is a nice looking car! People do stop and look. Whether they like it or not, they did notice it.I have people that think it is a BMW! AGH! I correct them quickly. Good insurance rates. They are as hard as hell to steal AND make work. Well that is my rant, so what do you think??
