Subject: speedometer signal for navigation system

I know it takes a lot of fun from the driving but I'm trying to install a navigation system (VDO Dayton MS 4200). I do encounter a major problem: I quote from the user manual: 'the connection to the speedometer signal is essential for a proper function of the navigation system. Furthermore the speedometer signalprovides the following functions: Speed dependent Volume Control ...... and Speed Warning.......'. Where do I find this signal from the speedometer of my Saab 9000 CS TurboS from 1992? I guess it will be somewhere between the speedometer and the trip computer. Is this a good guess? By the way: The manual states (in bold) WARNING: Never tap the speedometer signal from the ABS control! Thanks for any advice, Stoof
