Thanks JRD........nice to here. I don't suppose you are at liberty to reveal the dealer that has helped your pal? Was he in or out of warranty? My dealer who represented it with SAAB GB today tells me that SAAB will pay half! Hmmm but not the VAT and Labour - total bill £190ish !! staggering. I called SAAB GB and they seemed quite sympathetic and are looking into it - not heard yet. Grateful for any ammo I could use (like the precedent set by your mates very friendly SAAB dealer) then that can only help me champion my cause! Cheers again.....
