I am not a mechanic but it sounds to me like a potential fuel mixtue problem. A simple way to attempt correction is to try to use some higher octane fuel and see what happens. BTW I also drive a 96 9K CSE w/85K miles. Ted Harris Resource Strategy Henniker, New Hampshire
