Mine did the same, and even after I replaced the flexible section it continued for a week or so until it sorted itself out, only to recur a few months later when the idle valve went. Make sure it's not your idle control valve. I don't know where it is located on the 2.0 engine, as I have the 2.3, where it's located under the inlet manifold. In the UK there are several type of flexible front pipe, all looking the same, but not all fit. They are all available here from 3rd party exhaust places, and I eventually found one that fitted, for a cost of £90 ($135ish). Don't know why any of this would cause the check engine light to come on, so it sounds like you have another problem as well? -- Regards, Danny http://www.gaggia-espresso.com (a purely hobby site) http://www.dannyscoffee.com (UK advert for my mobile espresso service) swap Z for above characters in email address to reply
