I had a leak in my '88 900S. The problem turned out to be a clogged drain line. In my case it was only one of the four, so the car would take on water only when the front left of the car was low. I cleared it with a length of #12 electrical wire. I think the sunroof is actually expected to "leak" a bit, with the water going into the pan around the opening and down the drains. I recenly redid the headliner, including new fabric on the sunroof. Getting it in and out is a pain, but doable. Let me know if you need pointers to materials or info, and I'll try to dig it up.
