If one can pick up a car for way cheaper from abroad, I'm amazed how the the industry (prestige) in the UK survives. I know here that any imported car (RHD) is subject to heavy duties, hence negating savings. Then again, we're not part of EUR, and the Government does what it likes to protect the local industry, hence hefty vehicle prices..including SAAB :-( Davo > Johannes
