Thanks again ...and as I said, it turned out to be funky fuse terminals. Thanks for the input on oil leaks... I'm not too worried now, most people I've mentioned the leak for have answered ".....er.... it's a Saab, isn't it?" And I've just finished changing a balljoint (lower right side) and will adjust the parking brake this afternoon. I will also go gas leak hunting (probably molded gas tubes; the rest-in-old-norwegian-garage-for-a-year-thing) Otherwise, the car's in very good shape, and the engine runs pretty good (184' km) Interior is flawless, although the saab design from 1983 puts me back to old Volvo Amazones from 1960/70.
