>I noticed this past weekend that a few of the pixels in a >verticle line of the radio display are fading off and on as I drive. >It's strange because it seems to happen randomly. Yep, me too. I've had my car for just over seven years and this has happened off and on. Right now I have a vertical line missing on the CD track display. It doesn't bother me. The fix is too expensive. I don't know why Saab didn't create a perfect display. When I bought my car, the Automatic Climate Control display went blank and had to be replaced (under warranty).. > Also my ABS warning >went on as I was driving this week, but I turned the car off and then >back on and I haven't seen the problem since... The ABS warning ON means that it is not working. OFF is ok. I had this too. Quirky. Scared me when I didn't know what it was. >Anyone know anything about either of these problems discribed? Anyone >have similar experiences? Anyone know or guess what it takes to fix? >Any advice? I've heard rumors of 1995's having funny electrical >systems- What's the verdict with all you? Forget about fixing the pixels if you can figure out what the numbers mean. They will have to replace the whole display unit. Beaucoup $$$. Great car. Fun to drive. I have a hard top and the only annoyance is that the trunk (boot) does not have a latch to open it, unlike the newer models. My wife has the convertible and she once accidently locked the key in the trunk when the top was down. With the top down one cannot open the trunk with the button on the driver's door, which is rendered inactive when top down. Only happened once. Enjoy, VS
