I'm into my second winter a 1999 SAAB 9-3 SE hatchback and since the snow has just arrived I'm worried. HELP! I never had winter driving trouble until I drove a SAAB, and now I slide when I brake. It scares the beegeebees outta me. For 20 years I've been driving Hondas with no power steering or brakes and never ever felt out of control when braking during snowfall. Now with a supposedly safer winter car and power everything there is a tremendous sense of loss of control. What is going on? Is there a good way to adjust the braking technique or am I going to have to go with winter only tires? This is the ONLY thing I really detest about my SAAB. Otherwise it's a gem. B I have good all weather tires with 20,000 miles on the.
