As in any transaction, price is negotiable, and is only a starting point - but please remember, this is being offered for private sale here, not for trade-in. If we were willing to accept the trade-in price, we'd go to the dealer! We're perfectly willing to sell it privately for a sum somewhere between what we've been offered for it in Part Ex, but for less than you can get one on a Dealer's forecourt. As for your cousin's car, he/she should shop around more - as we do have a better offer on our car, so if he/she is contemplating accepting that amount, then good luck to him/her! We've also got 6 weeks, pending delivery of our Aero to find a buyer - if not, it goes to the dealer, where it will get put up on the forecourt for £15995 as an approved used car, with the dealer's margin.
