Thanks for that. I totally agree with you. It bugs the hell out of me and anyone else that comes in the car, "Whats that chiming all about?, that would bug the hell out of me" Not many cars (if any) in the UK make silly noises at startup. I'm not really sure if its the chiming or the questions that annoy the most. Now that I realise what the noise is all about I'd rather not have to put up with it. Alex PS. I'm also not planning on trying out the airbags any time soon as I've still got to pay up the damn think ;-) PPS. I would now like to see a large thread on what cars make the most annoying noises, with the exception of Fiats as that just their engines..... 8-) Mind u I was in one of those new Honda Civic Type-Rs and boy does that rev. It actually reminds me of my wife's hairdryer......
