Subject: CD-Changer adapter OEM Aftermarket Clarion Alpine Saab

Hello, I recently bought a SABB 900 SE, fitted with a SAAB Audio System 2. As for reading the threads posted in the past I found this unit to be able to use the Clarion 635 CD-Changer. I do possess a HQ Alpine Equipment including the Alpine 5952 CD-Changer. I do not want to replace the head unit in the SAAB as it also provided other integrated car functionality. Is there any way to connect the Alpine CD-Changer to the SAAB head unit?? I know there are adapters out there, though I have not found any for the SAAB 900 -> Alpine and Clarion -> Alpine. I know of other cars that normally use an OEM Alpine Changer and there are adapters available to use Clarion instead - so I thought I must also be possible to do it vice versa. I know of the pin layout of Clarion (13 pin) and Alpine (8 pin), though I don't think it is just a question of pin reconfiguration. Thanks in advance - M.
