It is US GM influence, I can guess. All driven by marketing and questionnaires. They look at the Passat/a4 and see how well they sell here and want to emulate that while leaving the traditional Saabers in the lurch. Look at the 9-5. Same deal. I am guessing that the marketers are saying 'If they don't want a 4 dr, give them a wagon'. This is not to discount the 3 dr which supposedly will come later in the model year. A 5 dr is the most useful body configuration, period. I do not want a wagon. I am looking at the last Saab produced, the 9k CS, and would like to buy a late model one for my wife. They were all 5 dr! I hate to see Saab walk away from this tradition. The funny part is that the 9-3 5 dr sells better than any other configuration. Then again, Marketing models don't lie, do they ;-) KeithG "Johannes H Andersen" <johsnopsamanytime.co.uk> wrote in message news:3C90FD43.14813B1Cnopsamanytime.co.uk... > > > Jussi Ketola wrote: > > > > "H." <musicboxnopsamrider.co.uk> wrote in message > > news:2op19uos5hev78j8h662l72vegd3nqf6ugnopsamcom... > > > >>I managed to find some spy shots at http://thecarconnection.com .
