I tried before, and will give another shot before going to eBay or someplace. I have a 1986 Saab 900S, Rose Quartz, good condition, 305,000 miles (mostly highway). I have all the maintenance records since 1990, when I bought it used. I'm chronically ill, and cannot drive much, and so can't afford to keep a car I don't use, and can't justify fixing him for that reason. At the moment, he's got a dead alternator. Probably needs a voltage regulator, as well. The battery is discharged from not being used, but is less than 2 years old and should be able to be recharged. He has always passed inspection. He has minor rust, interior wear, and the A/C was converted to the new non-CFC type a few years ago. The car is located in Somerset, NJ. I would like to have someone take him before May (otherwise the registration renewal and inspection has to be done.) I really don't want to junk him, since he's still pretty good. If someone would like him, and would take care of him, that would be great. If he can be antiqued, so much the better. Please email me, only if you're serious and do want to come get him.
