First bike was a Puch Maxi, at 16, rode it until I was 17, rode a BSA C15 starfire? for a while, 650 (Rocket?) and got a new Honda CJ250T (1977) - this was the predecessor to the dream - 250 twin with 2-1 exhaust, available in bright red or bright yellow. My ex school friends were mad as they had signed up for 3 years HP on the Yamaha FS1E and couldn't upgrade. Honda also did a 360T and it was popular to swap engines/bikes but keep the 250 side panels. It used to thrash my friends' RD200. I then got a 750F2, which was very similar to the CJ in style, but did 120mph. In recent years I've had a Kawasaki GT750, GPZ1100 and 2 Blackbirds, and I still ride round Europe on the bike 2 up with ex girlfriend and still good friend who loves pillion riding, especially at speeds approaching 3x legal limit in this country. -- Regards, Danny http://www.gaggia-espresso.com (a purely hobby site) http://www.dannyscoffee.com (UK advert for my mobile espresso service) swap Z for above characters in email address to reply
