Not sure about the pricing model in the States, but I had a quote from Saab City London (UK's largest Saab Dealer) for an 01 Car and the 02 Car. The 01 car was more expensive, and that wasn't taking into account the additional extras* that the new build 02 cars are equipped with. Saab have increased the value of the 02 cars significantly by reducing the price and upping the spec in the UK. It might be that the Dealers are going to have a lot of difficult 01 stock to shift, especiallly when you can buy the new one with more, for less. (* New build 02 models in the UK now equipped with Memory Seats, HID Lights, Heated Front Seats, Metallic Paint, Park Assist, all as standard - on the 01 cars, all these are extras - significantly extra!
