Subject: Re: Snow chains on on Aero

You'll need some 16" wheels and new tires. I have a Viggen and there are no chains you can safely apply without doing damage to either the body of the car or the expensive wheels we have on our cars. The Spyder Spikes really are not a good solution either. You're not going to enjoy putting them on. Sorry. I gave up on using the Viggen to get me up the hill (even though it's conquered Pike's Peak... well, with some additional hp and 4-wheel drive). I just bought a Freelander to go skiing in. It really is too bad Saab does not make an AWD vehicle... Perhaps the 9-X next year, but I'm not buying one. It's just not big enough.
