If not, I suggest you forget about it. My wife loves to drive a manual, but her left knee is shot, so she has an auto. I have a manual Aero Wagon, and she loves to drive it ocassionally. A stick is lots of fun, but can be a real PITA in traffic. For long highway trips and fooling around a manual is great. If you have to face a lot of stop and go traffic you may soon tire of it. I was delighted to discover that my Aero is quite happy to trickle along in heavy traffic at idle rpm with my foot off the gas and clutch. That makes it a lot easier to tolerate such situations. As far as not having driven a manual in 13 years, don't worry - it's like bike riding - your body never forgets. The 2002 9-5 5-speed auto is greatly improved and has received great reviews. It seems to be welll matched to the power characteristics of the engine and is smooth and responsive. I don't think you would regret picking the automatic.
