>the oil pump is leaking. I never would have thought of that! I thought the oil pump was located completely within the engine? (Some old cars used to drive the oil pump and the ditributor rotor with the same mechanism, I believe.) If it's inside it wouldn't leak, but have low oil pressure (I'll have to check that!).
