Subject: 98 Vibration - Front End

Finally got the problem solved. As I mentioned previously, it is a known problem with the '97 and '98 900S (mine is a turbo). Saab Engineer did the work and he undid all the bolts on the subframe and retorqued to spec. The vibration when accelerating has gone. It has taken a year for the dealers to track this down. Hope it helps others. Brian (PS - anyone know of a way to get the idle reduced on the 2L turbo. Mine is at 1000 always and they tell me it was designed that way. There must be a way to trick the monitoring systems. Your thoughts appreciated.)
