Hi Bill! I don't know first hand about V6s, but always heard that they weren't the most reliable of Saab engines... I drove a '95 900S for a while with the 4 cyl. 2.3L, and it was a charm. Now I drive a '97 900SE 2.0 turbo convertible and it's even better, so my advice is stick to the 4 cyl. (for what my opinion's worth)!!!
