Subject: Re: Coolant system question

Did you air out (bleed ) the cooling system? chances are there are air pockects and it preventing the coolent to do its job. There should be a bleeding valve on the engine outlet coolant. Top off the reservior, then open the vavle, then start the engine, you will soon start hearng a hissing sound and soon you will see water sprinkles out, wait until the flow is steady then at the same time add coolent, once no more air coming out, close the valve let the car run and then adjust the level inthe reservior accordingly .. Hope this help "Garcia420" <jeremy_duncannopsamam.yahoo.com> wrote in message news:3cae03d9.279347277nopsam.dsl.net... > I have a '92 900 with 80K on it. > > I just replaced the radiator and hoses back in November. > > The car started to have steam coming from the expansion tank cap (my > wife reports!)
