It's most noticeable under light load as you described, probably as there's little engine or road noise. When I drive at a constant speed of 70kmp/h, it's at it's loudest, and quite noticeable. > I don't hear it on acceleration or on over-run. I can faintly hear it accelerating hard through 70kmp/h and also if I select 3rd or 2nd gear on the auto when decelerating (over-run) > I thought it was a Saab characteristic! I'm beginning to think it is, although my wife's NG900S is super quiet. That said, I really think the auto should be as quiet as any other 'luxury' car. Actually I drove a loan car from SAAB the other day, a Toyota Camry, and the auto was as quiet as a mouse. Go figure. Thanks for your comments Peter. Davo > -- > Regards, > Peter Wilkins
