In every car I have ever owned when you started it the chimes or buzzer or bell or whatever went off for about 7 seconds or until you belted in, I have NEVER had a car where the actual chimes were also linked to the pannenger belt. After I last posted I had the thought that if you didn't want to go to the dealer perhaps you could find the wires for the sensor in the buckle and short them out. Ryan P.S.
