Subject: What fuel consumption?



Really an extension to the Optimax item, what fuel consumption should one
expect from a Saab?

My 2002 9-5 Aero Estate automatic, 1000 miles is doing between 24mpg local
runs and 28mpg on longer fast motoway.  I hope it will improve as it loosens
up.

My 1996 9000 CSE 2.3T (full blown) manual, 77,000 miles did 28mpg on local
runs and 32mpg on longer fast motoway runs.  Towing a 1400kg caravan on long
(but not fast) runs it did 23mpg.

Anyone else?
