Subject: 1988 900 4-door automatic -- Roof Sag and Vacuum Advance installation

I've got 2 problems that I was hoping I could fix rather than a mechanic..and save a few bucks in the process. 1) Interior roof material has separated from the mounting board and sags on my head. I've tried re-attaching the material with mounting sprays, but no luck. I'm considering stapling it up, but I know it'll eventually fall again. Are there replacement ceilings that can be purchased and installed by some shmoe like myself (Are they difficult to install)? Or will I have to bite the bullet and get the body shop apolsterers to take care of it? Thanks. 2) I've been told by a Saab mechanic that I need to replace the vacuum advance on my vehicle. I've seen the part, know that it costs about $30 and that I'll be charged $150-200 for pro install. Can I do this myself? If so, anyone know where I can buy the part? Thanks. - Jon
