Subject: Re: Onstar Volume problem

My recommendations are to stay clear of it. When OnStar spun off from GM, they found a way to fuck over the user by further splitting out their services. With concierge service, it is now over $900Cdn. They are fucking crazy! SAAB owners are known for their intelligence and resourcefulness, not their gullibility. With a GPS, a good autoclub (already provided by GM) and a cell phone, you can easily do without OnStar. As a user who had to renew, I was shocked at their new pricing. One final thing - forget about hooking up your cell phone through the radio. OnStar uses up that connection and you now need to spend a shitload of money with UHLtronics to buy a shunting device (for lack of a better term). It appears that you cannot have OnStar and your cellphone co-habitating on your radio's network. I say tell them to sod off and you'll be happier. I especially love the way the agents ask you how they may help you Mr. (insert your name here only really fuck up the pronunciation). you may help me by first pronouncing my name correctly. Oh, by the way, my real name is a short Italian-based name. Here's a hot newsflash OnStar, why don't your agents have your name onscreen and phonetically so as not to insult the users? That was why I had them change my name to Spyderman - they even screwed that up! Can you tell I'm fed up with them? Guess so. Save your money and spend it on a vacation with your family.
