The rear tyres are new, I asked the garage to replace them when I bought the car because there wasn't a lot of tread left. The front tyres aren't new, but they have reasonable tread, and that's all I really looked at when I bought it. Bearing in mind that the tracking _was_ definitely off when I had it checked, I guess it's quite likely that they've had uneven wear. I'll have a look at them -- do you think the problem would be obvious to someone who doesn't know exactly what he's looking for?
