The Oil I use is Mobil 1. I found out later that Saab branded oil for this car is Mobil 1 in their own bottles. If you have Halfords own, that would do just the same. A note of caution though, If you car has not been filled with fully synthetic recently in the past, the car can start to leak. Many Saab owners will tell you that. Some however, do not leak and others leak for a while and stop. On the plus side, fully synthetic should be used to give the engine and the turbo the best protection possible. -- Toby Field (UK) '93 9000 CSE 2.3T Auto 151,000 Miles "AA" <anopsamgt; wrote in message news:abj8nr$9rf$1nopsamg4.svr.pol.co.uk... > I've just bought my first SAAB.
