Subject: Oil cooling with 9000 automatic



My '91 9000 has an extra transmission oil cooling radiator in front of the
engine radiator. It also has oil cooling tube installed inside the engine
radiator. Is this typical setup or is the extra cooling added because of the
towing hook?

I don't have any automatic Saab nearby to check. I am planning to bypass the
extra cooler and rely on main radiator cooling. The extra radiator started
to leak oil out and I don't need to worry about towing.
