You might not like its looks, and it's not exactly in the same segment as Saab & BMW, but do test drive a 5-speed Subaru WRX. I guarantee you it'll put a big grin on your face. AWD (no ugly torque steer!), turbo, 227hp, 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. Subaru is sorta the Japanese equivalent of Saab... quirky, offbeat, but fun cars.
