I can confirm though they have not checked or replaced the hose or sensor as both of them have reasonable amounts or grime over them. If this sensor was faulty I presume the ECU would not know how much pressure the turbo was creating thus creating the overboost problem? By the way I have just got the car back from the dealer as a temporary measure until a technician from SAAB GB can inspect the car. Thankfully I have given back the 9-3 TiD courtesy car. Nice powerful engine (for a diesel) but loads of NVH and typically 9-3 poor build quality.
