hi, well wish me luck i dont need to plane the stuff then. i look at the prices of head gasket kits and they are pretty cheap! around 80 euros for a whole kit including all the seals n stuff. i read on townsend or saabnet about the procedure and they mentioned something about silicone sealant or so.. well i will ask to skanimport what else i need.the job looks like alot of careful work, but not very hard or something. just a long weekend. i guess i have to buy some tools to get the screws down tho. do you think i should replace timing chain or anything else while i have the head down. i guess i dont have to remove the engine completely to do the head? now i know why my gasket went, i changed to full synthethic oil around 20.000km ago;( too bad. any hints for my rotten front brake seats? do i have to flush or refill the brake system if i want to clean the shoes? well thanks for all help to everyone... bye simon putz
