Subject: 9000 handbrake & electric problems

hello all, (i'm happy that i found this group :) i'm not a mechanic and i know very little about cars, but i repair all that i can my self... (well, if i had the money, i wouldnt ;) ok, i got few problems that i have to solve before i'm allowed to drive my saab9000 -91: (sorry i don't know much technical names, so i hope you get what i mean) 1. the left rear brake doesn't go on when using handbrake, BUT worx when using normal brakes... the cable of handbrake IS ok and the mechanic on the left rear brake IS moved (yes it moves 2 the end)! so it seems it's a mechanic fault inside the brake; is this possible 2 repair or do i have to buy the whole(expensive) thing new? 2. i changed the left mirror while back and after that the driving lights work the wrong way :), means when setting lights off, they are actually on (and other way round)?!?! the mirror has electric moving&heating and they work... (yep, gonna test and unplug that mirror next) 3. long driving lights wont work, the bulbs are OK, any tips where i could start to find the fault? (how can i test if a relay is ok?) 4. fog light goes only on when driving lights are off (maybe because no.2?) (btw. is the fog light only on the left side?) all bulbs & fuses are ok... 1000x thnx for any help -andre
