Subject: Re: 2002/1 9-3 versus loaner 2000 9-5

i had a 9-5 for 3 years on lease until last summer - the choice was then another 9-5 or 9-3 went for the 9-3 as i had less requirement for rear space (3 kids - 2 off to university) but load space - especially for large objects, so the decision was primarily rear seat v hatch. however i had stopped using the farm tracks to go to work and used the motorway with the 9-5 as the tail tended to want to drift out as i played rally driver - but now with the 9-3 im happy to use the farm tracks again 9-5 seemed lots more stable at speed 120mph(ish) really irritating thing about the 9-3 is that the overtaking mirrors vibrate with the audio turned up :-) had lots of electrical problems with the 9-5 but it was still a great car (in spite of the gearbox too) so it really down to your individual requirements and what you want to drive on ( and how you want to drive) dont know what i'll do with the replacement tho?
