No problems with the engines, flawless and responsive. Get the 9-3 if money is not a problem. Having driven both I can appreciate all the little changes they made. I assume you are not in the US as you are using SI units. Here, in the US, they are almost giving them away,good deals everywhere. The fuel consumption has been around 22-24 MPG average highway and city mixed. 30+ MPG when driving at constant 70-75 mph.
