Subject: Re: Buying a used Convertible: Which Engine is to prefer ?

I bought a 1996 900SE convertible and love it. Only things that I've had to do is replace lights, oil changes and I just replaced the muffler. No other problems. I've got 73k miles on the 2.0 turbo and runs great. I get about 25.5 mpg. Seems like I get very slightly better milage with the top down. It may just be my imagination, but it seems like I get 26 - 26.5 on tanks where most of my driving it topless. Hope this helps.
