With the new V6 turbo engine, I > would like to get some feedback about it. i am sure you can get a big discount on either car, no matter if they officially offer it or not. just try it! the V6 turbo (light-pressure turbo) is only availible with automatic transmission.. so if you dont like that.. bad luck. the V6 is not significantly quieter or smoother as the 4 knockers from saab, they have 2 balance chains(?). as you already say it comes from GM and its belt-driven, not chain-driven like the saab engines. and it uses more gas. the quality is not terrible or anything.. you just gotta do the belt changes on time and check their pulleys... personally i would not take a saab with the V6 engine, even if it were a real good offer. i just like the kick of the turbo 4 cylinder engines, and i think they have a better usable power range as the V6. bye simon putz
