Yes and no...Under normal conditions it is sealed but you might have a leak...By sealed we really mean closed, like your oil or any other fluid system. There should be a cap on your radiator, DO NOT OPEN THIS, especially if the engine is hot, you will be greeted with a coolent geyser...Somewhere else inthe engine compartment there sould be an overflow tank for your coolent, it is probably clear. Check your owners guide to see if it gives coolent (Or Anti-Freeze) suggestions, perhaps call your Saab dealer and ask them what type, and then go to your local auto place (Halfords you said? I am in the US so...) and have somone there help you decide what to buy and fill it up...The Merc. Dealer could PROBABLY help you but Halfords will most likely have a larger selectoin of Coolent (Anti-Freeze) and it will be 10 times cheaper... Ryan
