I've got a Viggen that's not even a year old, so I'm not in the market for the new 2003 9-3, however, I probably will go test drive one pretty soon after they are made available just cause I'm very intrigued. If the car lives up to the specs it should be a great car, regardless of any "quirk-factor" or not, and the only reason not to consider it would be the problems normally associated with 1st year models. It's like software testing, no one finds bugs like daily users . . . However, I'd say this is one of SAABs more critical products given the big push for sales and if this car, for whatever reason, disappoints it may take a couple more years for them to recover.
