If the dealer is skillful and if business is slow at the time they are more than happy to fix cars under warranty. They get paid by the company to do it. And can therefore keep their shop busy and the money flowing. Believe me they do not work for free. Beside if they can have a look at the car at the same time they are doing a warranty repair they will likely point out things that they could do that are not under warranty and therefore make more money.
